Logo Validation
Logo Validation defined: As with Name Validation, the important legal implications in successfully trademarking a logo can make or break a brand, open it up for costly lawsuits, or require a hard restart in the brand development process. As importantly, the tone and style of a logo must resonate with its audience. This process may begin with simple research and analysis, or in some cases, it may require in-depth user testing and feedback or legal clearance. While OVO does not provide direct legal counsel, we often manage those efforts for clients and regularly collaborate with client-hired research teams and/or legal specialists to ensure greater peace of mind.
Logo Validation process and deliverables:
- Formal assessment of risk factors and trademark usage for a given logo design concept
- Qualitative and quantitative logo concept testing
